Beginner Swedish

12- Week Course: September 5 – December 5, 2017

Class will not be held on October 17 (fall break) and November 21 (Thanksgiving week)

Beginner Swedish is a course for those beginning their Swedish studies who have had little or no contact with the language. Emphasis is placed on all four skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking. This Swedish class will continue into fall semester 2017 with Swedish, Beyond Beginners and teaches both speaking and reading. It is the first in a sequence.

Jay Lutz is a Professor of French and Frances I. Eeraerts ’76 Professor of Foreign Language at Oglethorpe University. Jay has a PhD in French and Scandinavian literature and was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to study at the University of Stockholm in Sweden.
