Retirement planning does not have to be overwhelming. This class will introduce strategies for developing a plan for retirement that fits the lifestyle you want to experience by taking into account factors such as longevity, taxes, inflation, healthcare, and Social Security income. We will discuss different ways to retire, such as “phased retirement,” to find a plan that works for you. This workshop will offer you the knowledge to devise an informed plan that will fit your needs so that you can retire with confidence.

Dr. Brenda Dozier earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her master’s and doctoral degrees at Auburn University. As a retirement specialist, Brenda helps individuals and couples design a plan that will insure they do not outlive their money. As a CDFA, or Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, at her business Moneywise Divorce, Brenda is highly equipped to help insure divorce settlements are equitable for her clients in the present and future. She is an author (For the Children’s Sake: Parenting Together after the Marriage Ends, and Two-Home Families: A Family System Approach to Divorce Therapy), a national speaker, expert witness for court, and a divorce mediator. Dr. Brenda Dozier has also taught graduate students at Troy University and Columbus College.
